So, hello everyone hopes you all are doing great with your life and today we are gonna talk about publishing a book in India.

 Whenever you listen or come across with some saucy news that one of your friends is getting published, someone from your far-away family member wrote a book and now getting published, your manager or boss has been writing a book since last 3 or 4 years or maybe 10 years now approaching for companies. So hearing this news sometimes makes you happy or even sometimes makes you jealous. Apart from this, some want to know what publishing really is. Is it a cakewalk? Or it’s a hard nut to crack and I’ll be answering each and everything related right from writing a book to marketing strategies. I will not revolve in and around its history in India as it’s just a waste of time and time is precious, so here we go.

When does publishing a book really need to be implemented?

There are many types of people I encounter who asks questions related to publishing that when I should seek for this process. 
Some of them ask when they have written their book, edited it multiple times and now they have emptied their whole pot of intelligence mixed with emotions and they are called going to be writers. 
Some of them ask about it when they have written their book and they think now book must get published but you are going really fast brother.
 You must have listened to authors who keep saying this is my 3^rd or 4^th or 6^th final draft, it doesn’t mean that it’s different editions of the book. Draft simply means rewriting the whole book again and again until you don’t pour out your full potential but some people are so curious about getting published. 
Dude I will sound you harsh but this is true if you’ll hurry you’ll be lost in the market of writing. It’s a way tremendously tricky than one thinks of it. Let’s come to the point and have a look at some people who don’t even start a single phrase or sentence just want to talk about getting published and if you are one of them then dear trust me there are tons and tons of work to be done before this process.

How much publishing a book cost?

Yeah, here comes the second question of the people after reciting the word publishing they move onto the money and dude your every penny is worth, don’t just land out in the market and throw your money onto some agency. 
One of my friends wrote a book and without consulting someone and any strategies he wasted his 40000 INR and this amount is really huge bro, the money you earned so hard working your ass off. That money is really worth don’t waste it until and unless you know about the way to publishing.

So apart from when it comes to money, many new writers think that big company and small companies charge money according to their reputation in the market but it’s totally wrong. The thing is there are types of publishing and one of them charges money while the other not.

Are there different publishing company books available in the market?

So the answer is real, simple and a big yes. As you just read about the cost that how much these companies really cost so it totally depends on its type. There are three ways that anyone can opt for. 

•     Traditional publishing- The traditional companies which do not charge a single penny from you instead you’ll get an advance from them.
•     Self-publishing- So this is just the vice versa of the above. All you need to do is; just open their website select a package and boom.
•      E-publishing- This is the era of digital things and so here comes the Electronic platform of getting published with 0 charges and 70% royalty.
•     These are just an overview of the publishers present in the market, later on, I will be covering these 3 ways individually on a different blog.

Who are the publishers to approach as a new author?

See, first of all, you are going to be a writer and that’s a new thing you are going to do. You have to make a major impact on the readers who are going to pick up your book from a local bookstore or any online store. 
You need to be getting attached to a plan that how much potential you possess and how much of it you are going to spend. The more you’ll spend your potential and let the words consume it; the more will be your chances to get picked up by big fishes.

 My advice to the new authors who are willing to publish their book must not hurry and read all of my blogs to get a proper way and after all, patience is the key to success. New authors are a bit excited that they will get published and now everyone will know them but everything takes time dear. 

A live example is J.K Rowling; from getting rejections to becoming the most selling lady author of all time. It takes time to transform and shine like a diamond. I will be telling you every inch of detail regarding this industry, how it works, how much time do they and many other things about the marketing strategies. All you have to do is just remain in touch.

Does it happen that a publishing company turns out to be a fraud?

So many people ask me that they are unable to trust the services of the companies out there, so let me clear one thing, guys, that they are going through self-publishing companies and sometimes an unknown company can make a fraud.
